All,

I'd like to write a little GUI where the user types in a string using mathematical operators, something like:

x^2*exp(-x^2)

Then I want to take that string, make a function of it, and use the result to plot the graph of the function over a given domain. Has anyone some rudimentary code ideas that will get me on my way?
