I was actually a dev on the project way back when. I'll have to
package the code up and make a mini-site for it, which I'll do
tomorrow (I won't be around much today, so it will have to wait,
sorry). I must mention that there is also the Shiira project (http://
shiira.jp/en) which is an excellent open source browser with very
clean readable code.
Just to put the record straight, what happened was as follows. Me
and another programmer on the project decided we were tired of
working on it and wanted to move onto bigger and better things, so we
mentioned this to the project lead and it was decided that the best
option was to open source the code (since if we left, it would be
unlikely that the project would make much progress at all anymore).
So he got a site going and we set it free, but since then, he has
become disassociated with DeskBrowse altogether and let the domain
expire, and that was that. Keep an eye on the company Off Leash
Developments (offleashdevelopments.com), they have expressed interest
in reviving and rebuilding DeskBrowse from the ground up... ;)
Anyway, anyone mind if I send a link to the code off list, or are
there more interested in the code?

DeskBrowse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeskBrowse) went open source
a little while ago, but now it seems their web site at
http://www.deskbrowse.com is not available anymore. Not sure what
happened to the project.
Does anyone here till have the source code?
