I have written a ScreenSaverView subclass that loads a Quartz Composer file into a child QCView. It works fine as a screensaver, but it just shows a blank black screen when run as a preview or if the "Test" button is clicked.

Okay, so it fixed itself so far as animating in the preview and "Test" modes, but I still have an issue that I forgot to mention before. In preview mode, it renders into a postage-stamp sized rect in the upper right of the preview area (http://homepage.mac.com/tophu/ mini-preview.png). I'm don't doing anything different in - initWithRect:isPreview: if isPreview is YES or NO.

Any ideas?
