I have a window of my app that floats over all the screen windows. The

play a QT movie fullscreen

is there a way to detect a CGDisplayCapture operation? or any
operation that capture the screen?

Is there any particular reason you want to hide your window? The OS will prevent any window operations from affecting a captured screen, so your windows would be safe in that instance.

However, I think the test applications that you are considering are your problem - last time I looked at this, neither Quicktime Player nor DVD Player actually captured the screen when they went fullscreen.
