Hi Everyone.
I am using the QCRenderer to play some qtz files. When I keep tracking the resource consuming by the application, I found that the memory used by the QCRenderer object was kept even I released it. Before I released the QCRenderer, I also released the Opengl context, pixel buffer, attributes and so on. However, it seems that there are still something eating up my memory very rapidly.

Anyone know how to completely release the QCRenderer and any resource related to it?

Thank you in advance. Any help is appreciated.

i ran into the same problem, and got the following answer on the Quartz Composer dev-list:

We have a know issue in 10.4.7 (or 10.4.6 and later - I don't remember exactly) where deallocating a QCRenderer crashes. I'm pretty sure that's what you're hitting.

We are working on fixing that in the next software update
