NSMenuItem layout

Hi,
  There is a way for formatting the NSMenuItem content?

I used setAttributedTitle with NSMutableAttributedString class.

For font, color attributes it's ok. But... i haven't understood like to set the left/right margin about text in the NSMenuItem, because if the text is very long, the size of NSMenuItem corresponds to all the space available on the screen.

Where I am mistaking?
