Survey: API reference "metadata"

**** Please reply to me directly, off-list ***

The API reference documentation(*) starts with a "metadata" table containing various pieces of information, such as the framework, header files, companion documents and so on.

As the metadata table occupies "prime real estate" -- it's typically the first thing you see when you open a reference document -- it's important that it be well-organised and contain important information that is easy to identify quickly.

I'd be interested to know how well you think the current table meets those ideals, and how it might be improved -- or in general how might that space be better used?

Again, please reply to me directly and not to the list. Note, though, that I'm afraid I won't be able to respond to any replies.
