NSStatusItem position problem

  • Subject: NSStatusItem position problem

Hi there all,

I'm really stuck in trying to find the global position and size of my NSStatusItem.

When in debug mode I can see _fWindow, which contains exactly what I need, only its private and can't be used.

Simply I'm looking for its start position along the menubar and its length.

Any thoughts or pointers on this would be much appreciated.

Also, if you attach a custom view to your NSStatusItem can you reset it back to what is was before?

Phil
