Errr... SetSystemUIMode doesn't offer anything I need. I'm not trying
to hide the menubar or dock or any of that. (I actually want them
visible -- my "fullscreen" window is still behind the menubar and Dock)
That, along with strategies I outline on using the child window
APIs should get you most of the way there.
I can't find anything in the archives from you on child windows
related to my problem, so I don't think this helps either. Child
windows move and hide with their parent windows, neither of which I
want, and I don't see how this would cure mouseMoved events not
firing when the window is not key, and only when the mouse is
actually within the window's frame.
