Custom Button Issue

Hi all,

i am facing an issue with  Panther NSButton. If i make the key-equivalent of the button to "return" in the nib file. Then in Panther a white patch is observed. I have tried with custom button too, but the issue still occurs. Can you please help to resolve this issue? How can i make the outer area of the button as transparent? If you have any solution please let me know.
