I have several books on Cocoa. The one I've found most useful is
Hillegass's (and I took a course in Cocoa programming with him as
well. Slow learner, I guess). The problem with all those books is
that each one is essentially a series of tutorials -- fine tutorials,
but when I have a question outside their scope I'm stuck.
What I need (the world needs?) is a reference manual for Objective-C/
Cocoa programming -- along the lines of Harbison/Steele for C
programming, or the "GNU C Library Reference Manual" for the GNU C
library.
