I have an app that has files types such as jp1, jp2 etc... The number at the end of the file is unset. So there could be say a jp134. What I am wondering is, can the info.plist file be written in such a way as to allow a wildcard? something say like jp%i or something?

No. But you can declare the first 1000 types, if you really want...

Why have you chosen extensions like that?
