NSUInteger not recognized

I'm trying to use the getPixel method of NSBitmapImageRep

- (void)getPixel:(NSUInteger[])pixelData atX:(NSInteger)x y: (NSInteger)y

As you can see, it calls for an NSUInteger[]. If I declare one, like so:

NSUInteger *data;

the compiler gives an error:

"error: 'NSUInteger' undeclared..."


Any Ideas?
