Multiple NSDocuments in a single window

Hi -

I am wondering if anyone can recommend current documentation or examples which illustrate how to write an app using the NSDocument framework that allows multiple documents to share a common window. I saw Mark Piccirelli give a great talk on this a few years ago, but don't have access to my notes.

An example that would be useful to emulate would be Xcode, with the Groups and Files pane on the side of the window with content displayed beside it, plus the ability to open files in a separate window if desired.

Thanks for any pointers,

rh
