Leopard 10.5.1 And redraws

  • Subject: Leopard 10.5.1 And redraws

I have a new iMac with an ATI,RadeonHD2600 chipset and have upgraded to OSX 10.5.1 including the Radeon firmware fix.

Since upgrading I now notice that when I dismiss a dialog (modal or child) then the window underneath does a messy redraw. The window underneath displays white or blue rectangular holes which are refreshed slowly. I'd guess it takes about 50 ms for the redraw - it looks very untidy.

Has anyone else noticed this. Is this a result of the firmware fix ?

So far I have only noticed this problem when using my own application.

Keith
