Problem with Authorization

  • Subject: Problem with Authorization

Hi all,

I am busy trying to create a simple application to start/stop my BackupPC environment (backuppc.sourceforge.net).
I have created a laund plist which loads as expected using the terminal and sudo'ing launchctl.

Now I have created a little application and with some help from several other projects, sorry just re-using some code, I got as far as I am now.

I can authorize to the system as needed, but when I call my helper tool, thanks to the Big Nerd Ranch sample code, I always get the message that I am not running the tool as root.

I have put the project online at xis.xs4all.nl/~xjmaas/iBackupPC.zip.

Regards,

Xander
