Possible to control animation of appearance of images in IKImageBrowserView

Hi All,
Perhaps I'm just being clueless but I'm wondering if it's possible to
control how images appear/disappear/animate in the IKImageBrowserView. By
default IKImageBrowserView little 'blank' pictures with a broken line around
them (until it finishes loading them) then the picture 'appears'.

For what I'm doing I'd like a certain effect (filters & transitions) as they
are selected, deleted or added but I don't see a obvious way to do it.

Since ImageKit is new to me I may be missing something obvious....
