Hi guys,
Can anybody recommend some hardware copy protection (dongle)
solutions that are neat to implement with Cocoa apps? I am doing the
google-research but it would be good to hear from some people with
first hand experience. I've just got the Microcosm Dinkey Dongle SDK
but the Mac OS X support seems to be pretty minimal. The reason we
decided to check it out is that they provide a FileMaker plugin (one
of the apps we'd like to protect is an FMP database), but we can
develop an FMP plugin to do the job with whatever API we decide to go
with so that's not a huge problem.
So if anyone has experience in this area and can suggest products,
highlight pros and cons they've come across, etc, that would be very
helpful.
