Getting Object Bound To

  • Subject: Getting Object Bound To

Is there any way for an object, say a NSTreeController or
NSArrayController, to know what object it is bound to, e.g., file owner,
another controller, etc. ? Or is the binding totally outside the reach of
the object?

I'm just trying to avoid putting reverse "parent" ivars in my data
hierarchy to find the path to an object in my NSOutlineView. (No, it's not
the selected item. That's easy.) I'd like to avoid searching the entire
data tree to find an object's path.
