Something's busted. Click-through should be on by default in Cocoa
controllers, panel or not:
What are the settings of your panel? Did you set it as Utility?
Floating panel? I'm not sure if those affect your problem or not.
Are you working with a Cocoa Application or a Document Application,
because I have notice myself some unusual problems in making a
window "mainWindow" in Cocoa Applications. I don't know if it is
related.
