Scriptable Core Data (SCD) Framework launched on SourceForge

Hello, all —

We have initiated an open-source project on SourceForge with the UNIX name "scriptcoredata":
https://scriptcoredata.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/scriptcoredata/

Goal: The goal of this project is to make it easier for Cocoa developers to AppleScript-enable their
Core Data document-based applications.

Implementation highlights:
• opt-in, per entity, per relationship
• the document's AppleScript containment hierarchy expressed as Core Data entities and relationships
• your existing NSManagedObjectModel + codes + terms = sdef
• targets a 90% solution

Status:
• An initial prototype exists, but needs work--and review.
• We have posted initial headerdoc documentation and an inheritance graph.
Leopardisms have been obfuscated.
• We have posted a Keynote presentation as a QuickTime movie.
Presented at Chicago Cocoaheads/CAWUG, 2007 Oct 09
Includes screen-capture movies of example apps using SCD
• We intend to release initial source code shortly after Leopard is released.
• While you're waiting for Leopard, check it out.

Finally:
Collaborators welcome!

Sincerely,
	Don Briggs
	Jon "Wolf" Rentzsch
