I want to provide help support to my application. Help support html documents are available in some custom folder (this folder gets created while application launching) other than /Library/ Documentation/Help, ~/Library/Documentation/Help.

My question is: it it doable with folder symbolic links?.

Why not just create a self-contained help book that's part of the app? No need to copy things into a new folder on launch, etc.

This allows one copy of the help book to exist on the user's computer and prevents delaying the startup just to copy things around unnecessarily.
