Drawing Text in spiral shape

Hi

I am new to cocoa and i am trying to draw the text in spiral shape. The text i am drawing is the glyph that is obtained from layout manaer.II am getting the spiral shape but the characters get scattered. I made use of archemedian spiral .But i want the textt to be placed with a distance same as in entered text. Please help me in this regard.Thanks in advance.
