Custom Background For NSTextView

  • Subject: Custom Background For NSTextView

Hello All --

I am trying to create a background for an NSTextView that looks like a pad of paper, i.e., it has rules under each line of the NSTextView. I have looked in the archives, and googled but have found no examples that do this. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, examples or pointers as to a good way to accomplish this task. The first thing that comes to mind is to subclass NSTextView and override drawRect and do it there, but I'm not sure that there isn't a better way of accomplishing this.

Thanks very much.
