Hi everyone.
I am using Leopard 9A527 with Xcode 3.0 released for a while.
Core animation is so famous that I can't prohibit my curiosity to have
a try. However, I came across a big failure.
I installed Leopard 9A527 and Xcode 3.0, then in my root volume, there
is a folder called "Developer", it contains a subfolder called
examples, so far so good.
Then you can go to this location:
/Developer/Examples/Quartz/Core Animation/Recipes
There is a xcode project called recipes, I open the project and
compile it.
Boom! 43 Errors!
This is one of the errors:
/Developer/Examples/Quartz/Core Animation/Recipes/MenuBox.h:51:32:
error: QuartzCore/LayerKit.h: No such file or directory
I dig into the QuartzCore framework to see if there is a file named
"LayerKit.h". As we excepted, there is no such file.
I am really very curious to see the mystical efforts by Core
Animation. So can anyone tell me what is wrong with this? And is there
any solution?
It is impossible for Apple engineers to provide us with wrong codes or
examples.
Thank you for your help in advanced.
