I tried the following, which should work as far as I can see, and yet it doesn't.

NSAttributedString *string = [textView attributedSubstringFromRange: [textView selectedRange]]; [textView setString:string];

Does anyone else see why it wouldn't work? When I perform my action, nothing happens.
