Once you've learned C, starting with a (desktop) Cocoa application is
probably a good idea as well. It's a lot easier to debug a desktop
app, there's much more information available, and you can discuss and
ask questions freely. As an added bonus, there appears to be a lot of
common ground between Cocoa and UIKit, so much of what you learn on
