NSDocument opening folders

  • Subject: NSDocument opening folders

I have a document based application that needs to be able to open folders. I'm calling:

[[NSDocumentController sharedDocumentController] openDocument:myfolderurl ofType:@"mytype" display:YES error:&error];

but I get the error:

Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=256 UserInfo=0x10be490 "“myfolder” could not be handled because MyApp cannot open files in the “folder” format."

I've tried various things without success. Has anyone got a tip?
