Hide / show password in NSTextField / NSSecureTextField

Hi!

Does anybody know if there is a simple way to turn on/off the characters displayed in a Secure text Field? I didn't find any melhod in NSTextField or NSSecureTextField that does that.

I would like to show bullets by default in a password box, but I offer a checkbox where the user can have the option of revealing the characters represented by the bullets. There is something similar to what I want in the Airport WPA/WEP dialog.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Helder.
