May I suggest also having a look at bindings?
I wrote a simple file browser a while ago to illustrate some bugs
NSTreeController / NSBrowser on Tiger (they're fixed in Leopard, now
that the Cocoa Finder requires them to eat their own food!). It's
still available at http://igor.gold.ac.uk/~map01ra/BindTest.zip
Best wishes,
Hamish
