So, what SDK are you using when building your apps? I remember
seeing a whole new lot of issues the moment I started building my
apps using the 10.5 SDK. Is it possible that an app being linked to
the 10.4 libraries made the behavior of NSShadow on 10.5.{0,1}
consistent with that of 10.4.x?
Either that, or I'm going crazy. :) Because before 10.5.2, if I
didn't offset the shadows by an additional 1pt when running on
Leopard, then I would end up with very faint traces of a shadow,
while on Tiger they were being displayed beautifully.
My shipping software is linked against the 10.4 SDK. I didn't notice a
problem with the shadow offsets with it until 10.5.2.
My sample app shows that 10.5.2 draws the shadow at the passed offset
whether linked against 10.5 or 10.4 SDKs. On Tiger, it is draw at some
modified offset of the passed offset.
I don't currently have a 10.5.1 machine around.
