Help with interface Builder 2.5.4

Hi,
I am new to Mac, Xcode and all that i am currently using. I am trying to build
the Currency Convertor using Xcode and Interface Builder. I am currently faced
with a problem.
I am using X Code 2 and Interface Builder 2.5.4 on Tiger and i think the manual
posted online focuses on instructions for X code 3 and Interface Builder 3.
When i try to interconnect the the Controller with the View, i need to Open File
> Read Class Files. I am unable to find this option. Is this an option for
Interface Builder 3. If it is, how should i do the same on the 2.5.4
