NSPopUpButton menu list not showing all the menu items

Subject: NSPopUpButton menu list not showing all the menu items

I have verified through IB and code that my NSPopUpButton has a menu with 4 items in it. I have no bindings set on the button, but when I click the button only the last item in the menu list is displayed? I am sure I am doing something stupid, but any pointers would be great.
