Using NSKeyedUnarchiver on GarageBand data

  • Subject: Using NSKeyedUnarchiver on GarageBand data

I'm a bit new to using Cocoa and wanted to see if anyone knew whether the
"data" field in a GarageBand projectData file could be decoded with
NSKeyedUnarchiver before I dive into trying this. The data in this field
looks like:
        I0fAq0YFFQAGACQAAFCgHwQAAAAAAERaoB8YXaAfiNujH3sdzB8AHb8AAB2/
        AAEBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAwAA
        AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAfwAAAAAop6AfAAAAAAAAAAAA
        AAAAAGoYAABqGABTYLGqAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP////9Ann4eAAAAAAAA
in case that's helpful (is this a standard type of encoding?).

I'd ultimately like to dynamically arrange audio regions and figured that
seeing how the data is arranged is the first step to doing so. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom
