Two suggestions:

1) Do not bind to a file's owner. Bindings retain what they bind to, and you'll have a retain circle.

2) Use another method to load the NIB, one that gives you an array of all top level objects. My UKNibOwner class does this, for example:

Attachment: UKNibOwner.h
Description: Binary data

Attachment: UKNibOwner.m
Description: Binary data

Haven't had a Leopard-only project that uses NSViewController yet, but supposedly that works similarly.

Cheers,
