Refactoring might be worthwhile...

Your admonishment to 'implement setNilForKey ' simply does not reflect the reality of this project. It is hardly a quick 'cut and paste'... Is it really necessary to go through this level of change to the application of find this one issue?

Well, a start might be to put a category on NSManagedObject...
