Hi all

I try to get IP address, subnet mask, and gateway ip of a certain interface
Is there any API of function call could easily realize this feature
Or should I do the hard way to dump ifconfig / route information and parsing for it??

I don't know if there is an easy way to do it, but for me, the hard way will be to use getifaddrs(), not to parse some tools output.

The other way will probably to use the SystemConfiguration Framework (maybe MoreSCF contains some interesting clue: http://developer.apple.com/samplecode/MoreSCF) .
