Layer-Backed NSOpenGLView

  • Subject: Layer-Backed NSOpenGLView

I have observed that when a NSOpenGLView becomes layer-backed, the pixel format of the new context is not double-buffered even though one was specified for the original context.

When core animation creates a new context for a layer-backed OpenGL view, why does it not follow the buffering that was specified in the original context?

Regards,
Richard
