Does anyone know if there are some release notes specific for 10.5.2?
I remember reading on some blog that there was an NSTreeController
bugfix.
...

You mean detailed releases notes geared towards developers? I think they stopped doing that years ago. :( Something like this: <http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn2002/tn2053.html>

Actually some subsystems do ship release notes as a part of developer docs, and they can be detailed. For instance:

http://developer.apple.com/releasenotes/Cocoa/AppKit.html

However, there often are no developer release note updates for software updates.

To answer the original question, there are two NSTreeController bug fixes in 10.5.2; the one you may be thinking of is 5622232: "NSTreeController: points to invalid object after deletion."
