Hi,
I spent a few days debugging why an application wasn't sending NSWorkspaceDidTerminateApplicationNotification to the sharedWorkspace. Turns out it was because LSUIPresentationMode was set to "1". Is this expected behavior? If not I'll file a radar on it.

This is expected behavior. There's no way to get notifications for background-only apps through NSWorkspace at the moment.
