You can't talk about the iPhone SDK publicly -- you have to ask Apple directly (the developer relations people).
You could probably ask for Core Data; however I'm sure that Core Data being gone is no more indicative of it being gone (for everything) than Ethernet is because it wasn't in the MacBook Air -- just that some platforms just don't provide the full suite that you're used to.
