NSFileHandle and sockets

  • Subject: NSFileHandle and sockets
  • From: Jeff LaMarche <email@hidden>

Thanks to help from several people on the list, I got NSFileHandle working with remote sockets, and wrote a category on NSFileHandle to make it easier to use it that way. Since it would not have been possible to write this without the help of several people on this list, I thought I'd make the category available back to the list. You can download it from

http://innerloop.biz/code/NSFileHandle-NetSocket.zip

I release all of the original material in this category to the public domain - no license, no attribution necessary. The comments in the header file should give you what you need to use it, but feel free to ping me with any questions or improvements.

Jeff
