ScreenSaver.framework only 32-bit?

  • Subject: ScreenSaver.framework only 32-bit?
  • From: Steven Noonan <email@hidden>

I realize 64-bit is merely a buzzword at this point, but it seems strange to me that the ScreenSaver framework is 32-bit only. I kind of guessed that if Apple was releasing Cocoa with 64-bit binaries, it would only make sense that -all- Cocoa frameworks (other than any deprecated ones) would be ported.

Is ScreenSaver.framework deprecated? Is it being superseded by some other framework? Or has it just not been built 64-bit by Apple yet?

Thanks,

Steven Noonan
