Xcode-like window menu?

I have a document based application with multiple windows per document, using window controllers.

I was hoping that the window menu would magically group windows belonging to the same document together, similar to what Xcode does. But apparently that is not the case. Am I missing something, or is that something that needs to be implemented from scratch?
