So it also disabled passing values IN ...not just OUT. Why?

Actually, it's not even self-consistent. You can right-click (control- click) to access a Paste item in the contextual menu. I use this all the time. So, yes, my password(s) are fairly often on my clipboard. :-/


I don't understand the logic behind that UI, either.
