According to the documentation it is supposed to be a bool.
I'm lost...
Thanks, already corrected though.
I have read one, I'm waiting on another to arrive, and I'm doing this
to learn.
Thanks!

Hum... runApp is a bool type variable.
launchApplication is a method from the NSWorkspace class.
This code would work (not tested)
NSWorkspace* workspace = [NSWorkspace sharedWorkspace];
[workspace launchApplication:@"Your application"];
Define a string is with @"Your string", not "Your string".
I think you should read some guide to begin with Objective-C.

I'm running into problems now....
bool runApp;
[runApp launchApplication: "Interface Builder"];
I get these warnings:
warning: invalid receiver type bool
warning: passing argument 1 of 'launchApplication:' from
incompatible pointer type

I'm still a beginner but I'm making a calculator designed for
programmers, both for experience and because I think it will be
useful and I want to give users the option of running xcode and

figure out how to do this, I've looked through the documentation.
Can anyone help?
