Now the line

May be technically the declaration of the method, but is that really
useful to anybody? After all, you do not declare this method in your
code; you just invoke it. I can't tell you how many times I have
been led astray by this terminology - took me at least a year to
figure out that the way it is written has nothing to do with how you
use it.
I hope it is clear now that almost everything we have been telling
Johnny has been over his head. He does not know Objective-C and he
does not understand objects, and yet he has dragged out our attempts
to help him on topic after topic without addressing his own ignorance
of fundamentals. I will go so far as to say this is willful abuse of
list resources.
