NSPredicateEditor not updating scrollbar

I have an NSPredicateEditor in an NSTabView. But when I add enough predicate items to the point where the vertical scrollbar should appear, it does not.

My question is am I wrong to expect it to handle the scrollbar or am I missing something obvious?
