Fully justified text on a single line

I need to layout some text fully justified even if it's only one line or even one word. The standard layout never justifies the last line, even when the paragraph alignment is set to NSJustifiedTextAlignment, and for one line, the first line is the last line...

I can't see a way to set a flag to alter this behaviour anywhere, so I'm guessing I'm going to have to do it myself.

Is changing the value associated with NSKernAttributeName the right way to actually alter the letter spacing having calculated the amount I need to pad it by?

tia,

Graham
