core-data multiple contexts or coordinators?

  • Subject: core-data multiple contexts or coordinators?

The core-data documentation seems very vague about whether multiple threads should use different NSManagedObjectContexts but one NSPersistentStoreCoordinator, or multiple coordinators.

I've got an app where one thread needs to write, and one (or maybe more) threads need to read. One or more coordinators, what are the pros and cons?
